Nokia, T-Mobile US agree $3.5 billion deal, world's first big 5G award

T-Mobile US named Nokia to supply it with $3.5 billion in next-generation 5G network gear, the firms said on Monday, marking the world's largest 5G deal so far and concrete evidence of a new wireless upgrade cycle taking root.

Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds hopes LDS leaders will see ‘Believer,’ his film about Mormon LGBT youths

Park City • Rock star Dan Reynolds was once a Mormon missionary, and in a documentary that premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, he declares a new mission: to urge leaders of his faith to stop shaming their LGBT members. “A determined Mormon is a scary thing, I can tell you that, because they don’t stop,” Reynolds, singer for the band Imagine Dragons, declares in “Believer,” a documentary that received a standing ovation from some 500 Sundance attendees at its first screening late Saturday night. The movie will receive a broader audience this summer, director Don Argott told the audience after the film. “Believer” was picked up before the festival by HBO Documentary Films, with plans for a theatrical release this summer and a debut on HBO after that.
